Repair of Ruptured Neglected Quadriceps Tendon after Manipulation of Stiff Knee

Abstract

We report the case of 28 year old male patient who suffered quadriceps rupture following manipulation of the stiff knee. We treated the patient with V-Y plasty procedure which is an uncommon procedure with successful results. The final range of motion was 90 degrees with 10 degrees of extensor lag.
