The RES source is used for diesel engine fuel reduction. The paper presents power distribution between the two sources during supply of isolated load. Reduction of fuel consumption by the use of variable speed operation of diesel engine is also discussed. The issue of energy storage ESt cooperation with RES- diesel power generation system is evaluated.
