ETHNIC MINORITY SCHOOLS IN MOSCOW AND LENINGRAD (1917–1927)

Abstract

The problems of organizing ethnic education in the USSR in the short and contradictory period preceding the first five-year plan, and solutions are considered on the data from two capital centers. The quantitative data about the na- tional schools and institutions for training teachers are analyzed. The structure of management of national schools throughout the country is also considered.
