The intelligent grey target decision method of evaluating commercial insurance institutions to undertake serious illness insurance service

Abstract

In order to alleviate the urban and rural residents' medical expenses burden of a serious illness, local governments tried to provide the serious illness insurance service in the way of purchasing it from commercial insurance institutions. A multi-attribute intelligent grey target based method of evaluating and selecting the commercial insurance institutions to undertake the serious illness insurance service is proposed, with the comprehensive consideration of all the factors including financial strength, solvency, service maturity level, health insurance management level, the professional service capability and bid price, etc. The method proposed here provides a scientific decision basis for our serious illness insurance system's entry and exit regulation.
