Influence on the course line position of errors in the amplitude-phase distribution of the difference channel signals in ILS localizer antenna

Abstract

The dependency is found between the value of the course line offset relative to the runway axis direction and the errors in the amplitude-phase distribution (APD) of the difference channel signal currents in ILS localizer antenna. The results of a flight test of the course line position are given for the specific realization of the APD in an antenna array.
