Abstract
It will cause the loss of information in the distributed satellite networks, if the network node is failure. For this problem, a method for distributed satellite networks based on standby nodes is presented in this paper. Firstly, it can establish a main path and confirm main nodes according to max-throughput principle in this method. Secondly, it can establish standby nodes set for the main path according to point-to-point transmission model, and build more standby paths by selecting nodes form the set. Finally, it can transmit data packets by the standby paths, if the node is failure in main path. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that this method improves greatly the reliability of the end-to-end transmission. And it also improves the distributed satellite networks robustness and anti-destroying ability.
