Abstract
We fabricated transparent Copper Sulphide (CuS) thin film with good electrical conductivity, copper sulphate was deposited on hot glass substrate. This film then converted to CuS by treating with H2S at different temperature. The film's material properties are characterized using XRD and FE-SEM. Optical and electrical properties were studied using electrometer and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The sheet resistance ∼60 ß/cm2 was observed with a transparency of 63% for the CuS films that are treated at 360°C. Also, the current voltage characteristic data of these transparent conducting films showed a good photo response.
