Havacılıkta SWOT analizi: Türkiye için durum değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Transport systems, which are a part of modern life, are the most concrete way of communicating both across the country and with the governments of the other world. Air transport; In today's world, where the concept of time is extremely essential, it is a highly preferred mode of transportation, thanks to the comfort and confidence it provides, for business travel or leisure travel purposes. Turkey has become a center of transit flights linking three continents together. Even if our aviation industry is not at a level to compete in the international arena, the rise of people's living standards has created new opportunities for domestic or international flights. On the other hand, the war environment prevailing in the geography including our country prevents the development of airline transportation. With this variable demand, Turkish civil aviation tries to protect and develop its existence by gaining different structures. In this study, SWOT Analysis, which means Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats and which is frequently used in the strategic management process, is used. The aim of the study is to assess the situation of civil aviation in Turkey. The strengths and weaknesses that constitute the internal factors of our national civil aviation and the external factors affecting our aviation are considered as opportunities and threats.
