A brief review on torque control of induction motor

Abstract

In this paper a brief review on different torque control methods of induction motor are discussed. Induction motor nowadays has become an interesting area in the field of industrial drives. The different control strategies are implemented in order to reduce the torque, flux, current and speed ripple. The different control methods are direct torque control (DTC), DTC-SVM (DTC-Space Vector Modulation) and Model Predictive Control (MPC).
