Abstract

This paper discusses the design and analysis of a high output voltage microwave wireless energy harvesting circuits made of a microstrip patch antenna and a three-stage Cockcroft-Walton rectifier. Simulation of the proposed RECTifier and anTENNA (rectenna) is done using Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) software. The results show that the rectenna can give a high output voltage of over 10 V for 20 dBm input RF power and a maximum efficiency of 45 % for 16 dBm input power at 2.45 GHz.
