Abstract

A novel control method for power active filters is presented, which makes it possible to control the individual harmonics of the supply current with a closed loop without any mains voltage sensors. This method makes it possible to reduce the rating of active filters, and as a result, to reduce the cost of them, compared to the conventional control methods.
