Introduction of Reference-Frame Transformation Through Interactive Simulation

Abstract

This paper presents a case-study of using freely available math software for teaching the kinematics concept of reference-frame transformation at college level. This operation sometimes is not getting enough attention it deserves, even though, it plays a key role for advanced topics. The demonstration of a concrete problem with simulation can facilitate the visual discovery of reference-frame transformation and its potential usefulness.
