Abstract

Analysis of resource usage and precise correlation with the workload that triggered it is essential in order to conduct capacity planning in computing environments. Virtualisation enables resource optimisation and is widely used in grid, cluster and cloud computing. We present an automated approach for resource usage analysis in a virtualised environment that can support capacity planning for web applications.
