The firstpartpresentsanempiricaleconometricanalysisofknowledge-productivitynexusasan expositionofknowledgeasafactorofproductionandnationalproductivity.Thesecondpartpresents alogicalargumentationofthe10fundamentalpillars,supportedbyAfricanregionalandindividual countrydata.Thisresearchthenconcludesbypointingoutthe10fundamentalpillarsintheirextant stateareinadequateanddysfunctionalinmostoftheAfricancountriesand,therefore,socio-economic developmenteffortsandresourceallocationneedtofocusonnurturingandstrengtheningthesepillars forthegoaloftransitioningtoahighproductivityandwealthcreatingknowledgesociety.
