Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how E-commerce increases awareness on the risk and improves Malaysian SMEs' performance. 130 sets of questionnaires from SME exporters of Malaysia have been collected and analyzed using SmartPLS. The study revealed that E-commerce and Export Commitment variables are significant in increasing awareness on risk and risk taking significant in improving export performance. The findings of this study contribute to the Malaysian SMEs owners and managers to improve their performance by having more export commitment by using E-commerce.
