Abstract

Three optical filter types namely Bessel, Gaussian and Rectangular has been used to evaluate the performance of 16 channels WDM system transmitting over FSO. The best fitting band pass filter however is found Bessel according to the results revealed for transmitting 2.S Gbps bit rate in 2km distance.
