3D printed prosthetic hands

Abstract

Due to 3D printing is very popular of recent years, we can use 3D printer to make anything we want, and even like the prosthetic hands. We found a foreign network platform (ENABLING THE FUTURE) in which we can download a variety of prosthetic hands' files for free. We join the Enabling the Future organization, and often talk to the members and discuss with the problem we found in the hand devices. A patient, who has a missing arm below the elbow on his left hand, noticed we have been doing the research on 3D printed prosthetic hands, so he asked us for help. In this study, we try to build his own 3D printed prosthetic hand in a low-cost but functional way, so that we can make his dream of playing the guitar come true.
