Abstract

In this paper, a new design of intelligent defecation monitoring system for use in maternity wards is introduced. By monitoring the newborns' defecation situation intelligently in real time, and send a warning signal to the background management system through wireless communication right after the occurrence of defecation, the system can prompt the nursing staff to change the diaper for the baby just in time.
