Abstract

In this study, the stress intensity factors for the inner surface crack of the external layer of a thick-walled cylinder under interference fit are analysed. Given the material defects and incorrect assembly operations, the radial penetrating cracks of thick-walled cylinder under interference fit tend to occur under the action of contact pressure, but no mature model is available at present. For this, the finite element model of the 2D model is established using finite element method, and the stress intensity factors of the cracks under various parameters are obtained. The obtained stress intensity factors are polynomially fitted, and the equation for the stress intensity factors of the cracks is finally obtained, which has a good fitting effect and facilitates engineering application and subsequent in-depth study.
过盈配合下厚壁圆柱的应力强度因子
