Abstract
A highly technological industry, aviation generates an enormous amount of information from its systems, and in the era of big data, there are many opportunities to derive great benefits from it. ATM data is the core asset of European Network Manager, carrying out air traffic management over Europe - EUROCONTROL. Those data could be and are important for the business, focusing on business value this data have and what kind of services are delivered and can rely on its quality. B2B Web Services enable the automatic exchange of digital information, supporting network wide collaborative processes integrated seamlessly with the local processes. This level of quality together with accuracy, timeliness of the information, simplification of processes, cost reduction and safety is result from automatic information exchange. Beneficial targets are mainly Air Navigation Service Providers, Aircraft Operators, Airports, Ground Handling Agents, Computerised Flight Plan Service Providers and Airspace Management Cells. Digital transformation and improving B2B strategy allowing the integration of network manager services into their own systems, improving operational efficiency. Following the open data principles of the European Digital Agenda and the European Aviation Strategy, the B2B Services unlock the ATM data, bringing business opportunities for other actors, creating value for ATM and for the society in general
