Analysis of Various Smart Traffic Lighting Systems

Abstract

A smart traffic light should consider the physical traffic flow resulting in a fixed traffic rhythm. The notion of smart traffic lights has developed to overcome the issues experienced in traditional traffic lighting systems. Smart traffic lights refer to the electronic gadgets that actively manage traffic and pedestrian mobility. In order to embed such a quality, smart traffic lighting system should define certain traffic features in actuality. The smart traffic lightning systems can apply to manage traffic as it is based on the image acquisition and taking decision according to situation. The various type of traffic lighting systems is reviewed in this paper from different sources like of journals and conferences.
