Abstract

Liquid Composite Molding (LCM) processes are state of the art for the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites (FRPC). In the present paper a newly developed method for the manufacturing of binder rovings is defined. The binder roving consists of heavy tow carbon fibers combined with thermoset binder material.
