Abstract
The alternating direction implicit scheme (ADI) has been successfully applied to finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to achieve an unconditionally stable algorithm. In this paper the ADI-FDTD method is extended to a conformal FDTD scheme in curvilinear coordinates. The effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed ADI-NFDTD is demonstrated.
