New technologies and applications of product design and manufacturing in the manufacturing enterprises' digital transformation

Abstract

Manufacturing transformation and upgrading are the keys for enterprises to seize the high end of the value chain and maintain global competitiveness. Digital resources promote the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises in technology, products, business models, and other aspects. This paper first discusses the historical development and rich connotation of the digitalization of manufacturing enterprises. Secondly, new technologies in product research and development and manufacturing in the digital transformation of enterprises are introduced. Finally, the actual cases of these new technologies in enterprises are discussed. Through the summary, we hope to introduce the connotation, current situation, application status, and future development trend of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises, to provide a reference for the research and application of digital transformation of enterprises in the future.
