In general, the antenna size is of 50 X 50 X 1.6 mm3 with a ring slotted circular pattern as the patch. Method of moments based Ansoft High Frequency Structural Simulator is used for design and simulation. Different antenna characteristics such as Directivity, VSWR, gain, Return Loss, and current distribution were discussed. The antenna resonates under four frequencies such as 2.49 GHz, 5.12 GHz, 8.10 GHz and 11.71 GHz with a highest gain and directivity value of 6.59 dB and 7.64 dB at 11.71 GHz frequency band respectively.
