Abstract
This paper systematically reviews the multipath mitigation methods based on the Carrier-to-Noise-density ratio (C/N0) in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), according to the three core ideas of threshold selection, variance weighting, and error correction. It is concluded that the complexity of multipath signals poses challenges to these methods in practice. Thus, the methods may require antenna design techniques to function more efficiently, which provides a guideline for further exploration of the new multipath mitigation methods.
