Abstract

In the context of big data, the rapid growth of information makes data storage more difficult. Hierarchical storage technology dynamically divides data into multiple tiers of hot data and cold data according to the data usage frequency, and distributes them in storage devices with different access rates. Hierarchical storage technology can achieve higher performance of service response and reliability. It stores data in different tiers of media, and data migration is done in different tiers of media according to the access heat range of data to make the data properly distributed in the storage pool.
