Abstract

The author defines basic knowledge in the field of project management. Attention is also given to a better understanding of the connection between project management and education, which is applied in the military conditions. The article is suitable for state administration employees working in the field of management of Slovak Republic state administration bodies, as well as for the general professional public. At the end of the paper, the author points out the need for professional soldiers education which could contribute to a better understanding of the issue.
