Distribution networks are characterized by high resistance to reactance ratio. This work presents how the technical, economic & environmental benefits of a radial distribution network can be improved by optimal allocation of EV charging station. The adverse environmental impact due to the usage of fossil fuel has led to a paradigm shift in the automobile industry. Global warming caused due to emission of greenhouse gases has led to a transition from usage of conventional vehicles to electric vehicles (EV).
