Abstract

Padmashree Dr Vijay Bhatkar pioneered India's massively parallel processing initiative and built the first of the country's supercomputers in the PARAM series at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing that he set up. Dr. Vijay P. Bhaskar is Founder Executive Director of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Organization (C-DAC).
