Cricket Chirping Algorithm (CCA) is a nature-inspired meta-heuristics algorithm to solve optimization problems that is developed based on the chirping behavior of cricket. In this work, CCA is formulated to solve the multi-objective design optimization problems in the engineering field. The proposed method is first validated in some multi-objective test functions and applied to solve the disc brake design problem and welded beam design problem. Abstract
Most of the engineering optimization problems are multi-objective, which is very difficult and time-consuming to find the optimal solution.
