On the Possible Deconstruction of the Swedish Drug Policy

Abstract

Sweden has the strictest drug policy among the Nordic countries. The debate for a change has clearly increased in the last years and public authorities have come out in favour of evaluating the effects of criminalization of use. The government, however, sticks to “Sweden drug-free society” and increases penalization.
