Research on the Planning and Design of Transportation Hubs Based on Passenger Flow Simulation: Taking Tianjin Railway Station Transportation Hub as an Example

Abstract

Passenger flow simulation, as an effective technical means, can effectively solve the problems in the planning and design of transportation hubs. Taking Tianjin Railway Station Transportation Hub Project as an example, this paper studies the principle and method of simulation, parameter setting, result analysis, and optimization suggestions. At the same time, Legion pedestrian simulation software is used to simulate the passenger flow of the transportation hub dynamically and quantitatively, and the problems that should be solved in the planning and design of the transportation hub are summarized, which provides a guarantee for the efficient operation of the transportation hub.
