Increasing the Investment Attractiveness of SMEs by Applying the Drop-Shipping Supply Chain Model in Context of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to empirically verify the impact of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) on the drop-shipping model. The survey was conducted among 267 SMEs in Bulgaria with the main activity of supply of goods and services using the drop-shipping model. Of the total number of surveyed enterprises, 34% introduced ESG factors. The tendency to adopt indicators for assessing the company's sustainability is growing.
