Implementing Total Quality Management for world class product development

Abstract

Total Quality Management is commonly understood to encompass concepts such as customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, management by fact or data, and employee involvement. While these concepts are easily understood, the implementation of these concepts in a product development organization is not as obvious. This paper will describe how AT&T Power Systems, Board Mounted Power Development Group has implemented Total Quality Management.<>
