Abstract

The paper is dedicated to deriving a mathematical model of a water level control system for a boiler unit with interval parameters. It also describes a synthesis method of a robust controller providing a desired degree of an aperiodic stability for a system with interval parameters. The method is based on a robust extension of a D-partition method. The method proposed is used to synthesize a P-controller of the control system considered; step responses of the system synthesized are plotted to prove stability of its extreme operating modes. In order to analyze robust control quality of the system synthesized, a multiparametric interval root locus is plotted.
