Abstract

The purpose of this study is to carry out a dosimetric study by calculating the specific absorption rate (SAR) and the temperature in the human head exposed to electromagnetic radiation emitted by a Smartphone modeled by a patch antenna operating at the GSM 900 MHz frequency. The SAR is evaluated using the numerical method of electromagnetic calculation FEM (finite element method) through the commercial software COMSOL Multiphysics for different possible combinations of transmission from a mobile phone.
