Implementation of modern heuristic techniques for solution of economic dispatch problem with valve point loading

Abstract

This paper presents an efficient and reliable evolutionary programming based algorithm for solving economic load dispatch problem with valve point loading. The superiority of EP and HEP methods has been demonstrated for 3 unit system by performing valve point curves including losses.
