Estimation of a receiver signature in digital radio links using M-QAM modulation

Abstract

The characterization of the quality of digital radio links has to be done with a knowledge of system sensitivity to selective fading, usually well represented by the signature of the system. A method for the computation of the signature of a M-QAM system is described, considering the carrier and symbol synchronisms. The results obtained using that method are then compared with those obtained by simulation.<>
