Abstract

In this paper, we present an analytical study on the performance of the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme in a satellite system, where the users are impaired by multiple co-channel interferences (CCI). Theoretical expressions for the ergodic capacity, exact outage probability and asymptotic are derived. Numerical results are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results and indicate the effects of CCI, power allocation and channel parameters on the system performance.
