Abstract

Tourism is currently one of the top outstanding development industries in Vietnam because of its attractiveness and novelty. The world is beginning to enter the fourth industrial revolution, and has been strongly impacting every nation, business and people across the globe. In today's business activities, businesses compete very fiercely with methods of promoting and reaching customers. The tourism business in Vietnam is no exception. This article is to analyze the status of technology application in promoting tourism business activities in Vietnam. Through that, a number of positive and negative aspects and reasons are also mentioned to make some recommendations to improve tourism promotion activities in general and in Vietnam in particular in the 4.0 era.
