The next chapter presents the Runtime modules detection component used for the identifying and detecting connected ISES hardware modules by using two bit triplets and masks. The second part of this chapter describes the Rule-based methods exploiting heuristics to detect faults in these modules. Abstract

The paper deals with the advanced detection and diagnostics of physical hardware modules of remote laboratories based on the Internet School Experimental System (ISES) platform.
