Abstract

This paper proposes a direct predictive control applied in a single-phase Trans-Z source converter or SP-TZSI forits acronym in English. Some features such as low voltage stress of the DC link or the reduced size of the impedance network, with respect to its predecessor topologies, make the SP- TZSI an attractive alternative mainly in renewable energy applications.{The results of this work are obtained experimentally, using a low voltage converter prototype.
