Indonesia is one of the countries which have much technology based on local wisdom. This case should be raised to empower our local wisdom as an approach to make the invention. The community has the notion that learning science at school or on campus is not related to local culture in the community even though it is a culture of farming. Integration of STEM approach and character-based Local Wisdom Education works as a means of contextual learning that help pre-service teachers linking the material learned with real conditions and encouraging pre-service teachers to make a connection between the knowledge they have and the application of life. Abstract
