SUSTAINABILITY OF AGRICULTURE AS A SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEM: THE REGIONAL ASPECT

Abstract

In the article the approaches to determining the essence of the category “sustainable agriculture” are analyzed. It is proposed to group the system of evaluation indicators characterizing the sustainability of agriculture at the regional level into four blocks: sectoral economic indicators, socio-economic, environmental indicators and indicators characterizing the development of rural territories. He methodology of calculating group and integral indicators of sustainability is specified. A comparative assessment of the sustainability of agriculture in the subjects of the Southern Federal District is carried out.
