Migration and Reproduction Algorithm and Its Application in Hierarchical Coordinating Economic Dispatching of Multi-microgrid System

Abstract

The optimal operation of multi- microgrid system is the basis to ensure the economic and environmental benefits of microgrid operation. For diverse equipment and discrepant load in every micro-grid, the paper proposes a new versatile optimization called Migration and Reproduction Algorithm (MARA), which can be used to solve coordinated dispatching for multi-microgrids system. On the coordinated dispatching strategy model during off-peak periods for multi-microgrid system, simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm can realize that the multi-microgrids system coordinated dispatching more efficient and economic. Meanwhile, Compared with Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) and Harris hawks optimization (HHO), the proposed algorithm is proven with faster convergence speed and better optimization ability.
