Abstract

A relatively simple method of solving the inverse problem by using fuzzy rule based model of a multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) system is presented. It utilizes the concept of grid-type fuzzy model by use of a complete set of rules and numerical outputs (consequents). Then with a given system outputs, a set of so called dominant rules is extracted as possible solutions. They can be used further in analyzing the possible actions of the system inputs.
