A method for precise RMS measurements of periodic signals at low frequencies

Abstract

A new method of precision reconstruction and the RMS measurements of the low frequency signals is presented. The method is based on the reconstruction technique and additionally uses a precise measurement of the rectified signal average (RSA). This approach considerably increases accuracy of the RMS measurement.
