Abstract

Solar energy is the alternative to the conventional energy sources as the environmental issues are concerned. Regulated, stepped up DC output can be obtained from PV panels using boost type DC-DC converter. This paper presents simulation of a boost converter where the required gate triggering pulses are generated using ePWM feature of the Digital Signal Processor (DSP).
