Abstract
This paper proposes a new function "forward and backward difference function" to enhance a single sinusoidal waveform corrupted by noise. Improvements in SNR are evaluated for sinusoidal waveform embedded in white noise, and the effects of this function is greater than that of the correlation function.<>
